Can the shape or size of center stone be changed?
Yes. We will work with you to figure out what will look best with the specific design you choose. But generally all of our rings can be altered to fit any size of shape center stone.
Are your diamonds conflict free?
Mark Schneider Design is committed to the ongoing global effort to stop the trade in conflict diamonds. We are committed to upholding the highest human rights standards when purchasing diamonds. We are 100% compliant with The Kimberley Process and the Clean Diamond Trade Act. We actively support efforts by industry trade associations, the World Diamond Council and the Jewelers of America to stop conflict diamonds coming to the United States.
The Kimberley Process established in 2002 ensures that each shipment of rough diamonds is sealed in tamper resistant containers and is accompanied by uniquely numbered certificates of origin. To supplement the program, the International Diamond Manufacturers’ Association and the World Federation of Diamond Bourses supply written warranties to protect the seller each time diamonds change hands, regardless of whether the stones are rough or polished.
Mark Schneider Design follows a strict policy to ensure the diamonds we purchase are mined and distributed under the highest ethical standards and we will continue to support and promote any process that works to uphold legitimacy in the diamond trade.
