Top of the class
Best of the Best is the title of the new exhibition at the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) headquarters in Carlsbad, California. Open until April, it features prize-winning designs, gemstone carvings and design rendering from some of the world’s most prestigious jewellery competitions.
These include the American Gem Trade Association’s (AGTA) Spectrum, Cutting Edge and Platinum Honors Awards; De Beers Diamonds International Awards; and the Perles de Tahiti Tahitian Pearl Trophy.
The show highlights prominent award-winning gem and jewellery artists, such as Michael Dyber, Paula Crevoshay and Mark Schneider.
