Proposal in Puerto Rico with Custom Ring Design

She was completely clueless. I thought the multiple extended dog walks (a cover for designing the ring at Mark Schneider) and the appearance of her parents for our trip to Puerto Rico would have given away the surprise, but she was celebrating a big birthday and I had already convinced her she would propose first.

While my mom distracted her by making her pose for multiple pictures, I got down on one knee and proposed at my favorite beach. It was lovely to have both of our families cheering us. The day ended with delicious seafood, tostones and rum!
